Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director Salesforce Platform to own and guide Ryder's Salesforce ecosystem. You will set the long-term vision, governance, and investment priorities across FMS, SCS, and RLM while ensuring platform health, security, and data integrity.

Lead the CoE, align leaders, and drive enterprise-wide value. You will supervise distributed teams, mentor talent, and partner with Salesforce as Ryder's relationship owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership overseeing enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing apps.
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, multi-unit environment.
• 5+ years leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization or consolidation, including data/security/interface changes.
• 5+ years in executive stakeholder management, vendor negotiations, financial planning, and benefit realization.
• Salesforce multi-org strategy, architecture, lifecycle management, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Salesforce strategy, roadmap, and governance; chair the Salesforce CoE and manage cross-functional operating model.
• Maintain platform health, security, reliability, and regulatory controls across all Salesforce instances.
• Build relationships with Sales Operations, Service, Product, Security, Data, and other leaders; translate priorities into enterprise choices.
• Create guardrails for configuration, development, integration, data, identity, AI, security, and DevSecOps; enable self-service and innovation.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and ensure solutions meet enterprise standards while avoiding ownership of delivery.
• Oversee reference architectures, API patterns, data governance, and master-data responsibilities.
• Lead platform rationalization and transition roadmaps preserving business continuity and measurable benefits.
• Own platform financial planning, licensing, and vendor negotiations with Salesforce; communicate cost, risk, and value.
