Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Salesforce Platform to lead the enterprise Salesforce strategy, governance, and CoE across FMS, SCS, and RLM. The role drives platform health, security, and data integrity while collaborating with Sales, Service, Product, and IT leaders to deliver measurable business value.

The ideal leader will mold an operating model, mentor distributed teams, and secure executive sponsorship for a scalable Salesforce roadmap with governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms.
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex environment.
• 7+ years leading managers and/or senior professionals and establishing/ maturing a Salesforce CoE, operating model, governance.
• 5+ years leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization or consolidation, including data, integration, security, and change impacts.
• 5+ years in executive stakeholder management, vendor negotiations, financial planning, and business-case/benefit realization.
• Salesforce multi-org strategy and advanced admin/architecture exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own Salesforce platform strategy, governance, and the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Maintain platform health, security, reliability, and risk management across instances.
• Lead stakeholder alignment and enterprise decision-making across Sales, Service, Product, Security, and Data teams.
• Create guardrails for configuration, development, integration, data, identity, security, and DevSecOps.
• Provide technical guidance while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards without owning delivery.
• Partner with Enterprise Architects for reference architectures and data governance.
• Lead platform rationalization, consolidation, and transition roadmaps without business disruption.
• Manage vendor, licensing, and financial planning with an outcome-focused mindset.
