Job summary

The Hartford is seeking an Employee Benefits Director, Relationship Management to lead our East Region team. You will oversee a group of Assistant Directors, Relationship Managers, and Client Relationship Executives to drive persistency, growth, customer satisfaction, and overall book-of-business performance.

You will focus on talent development, operational excellence, and delivering a superior customer experience while partnering with the AVP and peers to shape segment strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Group Benefits experience and leadership background.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Licensed in Group Life & Health; ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing East Region Relationship Management team.
• Drive persistency, growth, and superior customer experience across the book of business.
• Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Product, and Service leaders to deliver solutions.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure operational excellence and governance.
