Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Corporate Development: M&A Integration & Operations (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead the integration strategy and execution for mergers and acquisitions, partnering closely with senior leaders across the business to ensure a smooth transition from diligence through steady state. The position is responsible for identifying organizational fit, managing complex cross-functional workstreams, and building the operational structure needed to support a high-impact corporate development function. It will also track integration performance, surface risks and opportunities, and help strengthen future deal execution across a technology-focused environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $155,000 – $240,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Evaluate organizational fit and integration risks during the diligence process
• Own integration planning and execution from diligence to steady state
• Collaborate with GTM Operations on commercial integration workstreams
• Track integration KPIs and report progress to leadership
• Conduct integration retrospectives to inform future processes
• Establish operational infrastructure for corporate development functions
• Identify opportunities for portfolio companies to align with the organization

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A integration, or management consulting with a technology focus
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end M&A integrations across various transaction types
• Strong program management skills to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams without direct authority
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with executives and senior stakeholders
• Ability to build operational functions from scratch with initiative and judgment
• Familiarity with data and AI tools to enhance efficiency and workflows
• Background in software, cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS
