This is a highly execution-oriented role within a mature and well-resourced corporate development function. The organization has a dedicated deal sourcing team responsible for pipeline generation and a separate integration team focused on post-close execution, allowing this position to remain heavily focused on full lifecycle transaction execution, diligence, valuation, negotiation support, and deal management across a high volume of acquisitions.

The ideal candidate is a sharp, detail-oriented M&A professional who thrives in fast-paced, transaction-heavy environments and enjoys managing multiple live deals simultaneously within a collaborative, performance-driven culture.

Position Highlights
  • Join one of the industry’s most active and successful acquisition platforms.
  • Report directly to the Chief Development Officer and collaborate with an experienced M&A leadership team.
  • Take a lead role in transaction execution within a dedicated corporate development function.
  • Gain exposure to a high volume of live acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Work directly with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
  • Develop expertise within a scalable, process-driven M&A environment built for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution & Deal Leadership
  • Lead and oversee acquisitions from Letter of Intent (LOI) through closing across multiple active transactions.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, valuation analyses, and investment committee presentations.
  • Manage due diligence efforts across legal, accounting, operational, HR, compliance, and financial workstreams.
  • Coordinate closely with internal leadership, lenders, external advisors, and sellers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Support negotiations, transaction structuring discussions, and purchase agreement reviews to drive successful deal execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with sourcing teams to evaluate, prioritize, and advance acquisition opportunities within the pipeline.
  • Work closely with integration teams to ensure efficient post-close transition and operational handoff processes.
  • Collaborate with finance and executive leadership on forecasting, reporting, acquisition performance, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Assist in enhancing internal M&A processes, execution workflows, templates, and best practices.
  • Conduct market research, target evaluations, and competitive analysis across strategic growth markets.
  • Support broader corporate growth initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and acquisition pipeline management.
  • Track transaction performance metrics, earn-outs, and post-close obligations as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5–10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or related M&A-focused environments.
  • Strong track record of managing transaction execution across multiple concurrent deals and workstreams.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with executives, founders, investors, and advisors.
  • Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to collaborate across sourcing, integration, finance, and operational functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial credentials preferred.
