Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience required.
• Experience supervising and/or managing direct reports with hiring, reviews and feedback.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers at all levels.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel for financial calculations.
• Detail oriented and adaptable to changing requirements.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, deadline-driven mindset.
• Demonstrated can-do attitude aligned with company goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction management, planning, scheduling, project execution and cost management.
• Review, execute, and approve construction projects cost-effectively.
• Develop timelines, deliverables, and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors.
• Identify pinch points and secure internal resources to stay on schedule.
• Prepare execution plans for 3rd party construction and obtain approvals.
• Collaborate with Design Team on long-lead materials and alternatives.
• Review plans and specifications; expedite engineering approvals.
• Define scope, set standards, schedule 3rd party contractors, evaluate changes.
• Provide weekly/monthly status reports to VP of Construction.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project aspects as required.
• Maintain accurate project status reports, invoices, and paperwork.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate site inspections against budget/schedule.
• Communicate with project team and leadership to avoid delays or overruns.
• Maintain construction records and document management systems.
• Manage project budgets and vendor/contractor performance.
• Collaborate with business units to develop budgets and approve invoices.
• Assist with performance reporting and tracking change orders.
• Monitor 3rd party contracts, change orders, credits and material inventory.
• Coordinate requirements with AHJ and procurement for vendors.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, permits and insurance requirements.
• Handle multiple tasks and deadlines; supervise and mentor staff.
