Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, drive workflow standardization, and optimize agency performance. The role partners with leaders to deliver exceptional client service while supporting strategic M&A and integration initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC preferred, and strong experience with EPIC workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large brokerage or agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization, process optimization, and workforce planning.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows and promote best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth.
• Align with Managed Services to optimize resource use.
• Serve as a national Commercial P&C subject matter expert for operations and technology.
