Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP of Commercial Lines to lead national operations, standardize workflows, and drive profitability across the brokerage. This role partners with regional leadership to optimize performance and support M&A integration efforts, while leveraging EPIC and modern workflows to deliver exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership within a large agency.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization, process optimization, and organizational efficiency.
• Strong communication and change-leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Perform root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and operational excellence.
• Align managed services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and technology usage.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive results.
