Job summary

Insurance Office of America in the United States seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations and drive workflow standardization, process optimization, and strategic alignment. The role partners with divisional leadership to improve client service, support M&A integration, and enhance organizational performance.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years of leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines operational leadership at a large brokerage or agency.
• Expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing models and develop capacity plans.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Collaborate with producers and leaders to drive adoption of new processes.
