Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, driving standardized workflows, efficiency, and strategic initiatives across the brokerage landscape.

The role partners with divisional leaders to optimize service models, support mergers and acquisitions, and guide operational transformation, leveraging EPIC and data analytics for superior client outcomes and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.

• Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: Identify causes and implement corrective actions.
• Workforce Planning: Develop capacity plans to support growth.
• M&A Integration Support: Assist integration planning and workflow alignment.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: Improve EPIC usage and reporting.
• Performance Analysis: Use metrics to drive improvements.
• Change Leadership: Drive adoption of new processes across the organization.
