Job summary

Insurance Office of America in the United States seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations, partnering with divisional and regional leaders to advance objectives, optimize workflows, and strengthen performance across the organization.

You will oversee standardization, capacity planning, and integration initiatives in collaboration with producers, account teams, and leadership, while guiding the agency's Commercial P&C operating model and leveraging EPIC and related systems.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of commercial lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with divisional and regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Evaluate operational issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing, workloads, and service demands to support growth.
• Coordinate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide national SME guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations teams, and leadership to ensure successful implementations.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, workflows, and reporting tools.
