Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations. The role focuses on strategic initiatives, workflow standardization, and operating model improvements across the agency.

A strong P&C license and advanced designations are required, with experience in large brokerages and M&A support highly valued. The position offers fully remote work with preference for Central Time Zone hours, but onsite work may be needed for hybrid requirements within 50

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with leadership to strengthen operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable improvements.
• Promote standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement to boost productivity and client outcomes.
• Support merger and acquisition initiatives through planning and integration.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive results.
• Leverage EPIC and other systems to improve performance.
