Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Hosting to lead a skilled engineering team in delivering scalable IT infrastructure and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Information Technology or related field.
• Advanced degree in Information Systems, Business, Planning, or related field is a plus.
• 10 years leadership experience of a multi-site enterprise infrastructure organization.
• Direct supervision and staff development experience.
• Experience managing outsourced service and service providers.
• Foundational Cloud Certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Azure Fundamentals) required; higher levels preferred.
• PMP certification can be a differentiator for a candidate.

Responsibilities

• Leads delivery of Sun Life Dent aQuest Infrastructure and Cloud hosting products and services.
• Oversees key infrastructure areas: O365, AD/LDAP, Windows/Linux servers, Azure/AWS, virtualization, storage, and VDI.
• Ensures Disaster Recovery is in place and tested for critical services.
• Sets team vision, maintains standards, and documents policies and procedures.
• Develops KPI measurements, performance targets and SLAs; manages budgets and capacity.

Education

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Information Technology or related field
