Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Hosting to lead a skilled engineering team and deliver scalable IT infrastructure and cloud services across the enterprise.

The role focuses on design, delivery, governance, and strategic direction to support a growing business. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of leadership in large-scale infrastructure, strong certifications in cloud platforms, and a proven track record in budgeting, DR planning, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• 10 years leadership experience in a multi-site enterprise infrastructure.
• Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Azure Fundamentals required; PMP a differentiator.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Infrastructure and Cloud hosting services across SunLife DentaQuest.
• Ensure DR/testing, KPI reporting, and SLA performance.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and capacity spending.
• Develop team vision, standards, and documentation.
