Job summary
Ford Credit is seeking a Director of Cloud & AI Infrastructure Operations to lead reliability, security, and cost-efficiency across a hybrid cloud and AI landscape spanning Google Cloud, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and on-prem data centers.
You will partner with application teams, security engineering, and enterprise tech partners to translate AI capabilities into governed, production-ready solutions, while mentoring technical teams and representing the strategy in leadership forums.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- 10+ years in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering with hands-on GCP experience.
- Experience securing cloud architectures and hybrid HA/DR designs.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for apps on GCP and container platforms.
- Design and implement HA/DR for hybrid environments.
- Drive security controls and compliance for cloud/AI solutions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and build dashboards for leadership.
