Ford Credit is seeking a Director of Cloud & AI Infrastructure Operations to lead reliability, security, and cost efficiency across a hybrid cloud and AI-enabled landscape. You will partner with enterprise architecture, security, and external partners to translate cloud/AI capabilities into production-ready solutions.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning, focusing on GCP, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and secure AI deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure with strong GCP hands-on.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and secure cloud architectures.
• Proven HA/DR design across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
• Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure concepts (LLMs, RAG, MCP).

Responsabilités

• Provide operational leadership for applications on GCP and container platforms.
• Design and implement HA/DR for hybrid cloud and Ford data centers.
• Advance AI infrastructure concepts to improve IT operations and automation.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, and external partners.
• Mentor technical staff and represent strategy in leadership forums.
