Job summary

Ford Credit is seeking a Director of Cloud & AI Infrastructure Operations to lead reliability, security and cost efficiency for our hybrid cloud and AI-enabled platform landscape. You will partner with application teams, security, architecture, and external partners.

Responsibilities include delivering HA/DR on GCP and data centers, driving secure AI implementations, and mentoring technical talent while communicating value to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering.
• Hands-on with GCP and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Secure cloud architectures, IAM, networking, controls.
• HA/DR across hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem).
• Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure concepts (LLMs, RAG, MCP).
• Familiarity with AI development tools (Cursor, Claude).
• Experience with Google AI/ML services (Gemini, Vertex).
• Security scanning tools across SAST, SCA, IaC, DAST, API security.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for GCP and container workloads.
• Design secure cloud architectures and enable secure AI enablement.
• Lead HA/DR planning and cost-management across hybrid estate.
• Collaborate across teams and external partners; mentor staff.
• Translate AI infrastructure concepts into production-ready solutions.
