Job summary

Advocates is a nonprofit organization providing services for people facing developmental, mental health, or other life challenges. The Director of Clinical Services oversees clinical, budgetary, and business operations of residential services and programs in Framingham, Westborough, and surrounding areas.

The role includes clinical and administrative supervision, ensuring staff certifications, safety, and adherence to policies, with a Monday–Friday 9am–5pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Licensure in clinical disciplines as listed (LICSW/LCSW/LMHC/ Rehab Counselor/ LADC1/ MD/ RN/ OT/ Psychologist).
• ASL Fluency required. Deaf individuals and native signers preferred.
• Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize staff and staffing functions to provide appropriate and efficient client contact, services and satisfaction.
• Assign and monitor scheduling of staff across programs to ensure efficiency of client contact, program coverage, and budget compliance.
• Manage and streamline administrative processes and requirements in consultation with affiliated senior managers or designees including Fiscal, HR, IT, Housing, and Maintenance functions.
• Manage and administer budget for assigned programs and monitor and improve productivity.
• Provide on-site management of clinical and administrative operations of individual programs as assigned.
• Attend trainings and maintain necessary certifications; ensure staff certifications and training.
