Job summary

Dentsu Creative in New York is seeking a Director, Client Leadership to act as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams, guiding integrated marketing initiatives from brief through execution while upholding creative and operational excellence. You will lead a three-person team and oversee day-to-day operations to strengthen client outcomes while driving agency growth.

The position reports to the VP, Account Management and requires a blend of strategic thinking with hands-on leadership

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of integrated agency account management or client leadership.
• Experience leading senior client advisors and complex programs.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
• Experience mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact across multiple initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive counsel.
• Lead teams through strategic development, ideation, production, and delivery.
• Manage a designated vertical to align priorities, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, media, and project management for integrated solutions.
• Identify risks and opportunities, and translate feedback into actionable plans.
• Develop presentations and facilitate client meetings.
• Oversee account operations and workflow to ensure efficient delivery.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and support career growth.
• Foster partnerships with stakeholders and nurture a collaborative culture.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships and drive agency growth.
• Deliver high-quality work within fast timelines with attention to detail and strategic integrity.
