Job summary

Accelerant is seeking a Customer Success Director to lead the Captive practice, owning end-to-end onboarding, financial controls, and stakeholder management across legal, treasury, operations, actuarial and finance. The role emphasizes autonomous leadership, influence, and visibility across teams.

You will manage day-to-day captive relationships, ensure timely execution of reinsurance agreements, establish trusts and letters of credit, and oversee cash movements and settlements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in insurance or reinsurance in account management or client services.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management or related field; CPCU/ARe/ACI a plus.
• Excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day contact for Accelerant’s captive relationships, owning operational success.
• Partner with Legal to drive reinsurance agreements and signatures; manage comments and escalations.
• Own onboarding of new Captives end to end, from due diligence to setup in back-end systems.
• Monitor cash flows, collect ceded premium, and drive timely settlements of quarterly censures.
• Coordinate with outsourced captive manager and ensure regulatory requirements across domiciles.
• Produce portfolio metrics and flag deals trending off track.
