Job summary

Empowered Staffing is seeking a Captive Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day administration, governance, and formation activities for captive insurance clients. You will coordinate captive administration, financial reporting, compliance deadlines, and client service deliverables to ensure accurate, timely execution.

The role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory knowledge, with collaboration across accounting, legal, and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day captive management operations and client service delivery.
• Coordinate compliance, governance, and administrative deliverables for captive clients.
• Support preparation of board materials, agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
• Monitor regulatory filing deadlines, renewals, and recurring obligations.
• Collaborate with accountants, auditors, actuaries, attorneys, brokers, and service providers.
• Review processes and client files for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support underwriting and exposure tracking as needed.
• Help develop and improve procedures, templates, and reporting tools.
• Assist staff training, mentoring, and workflow coordination.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives.
