Job summary

Humana in the Fort Lauderdale area is seeking an Associate Director of AI Enablement to lead the Enterprise Engineering Enablement program and drive the Agentic Development Lifecycle across multiple tracks and a governance framework in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

You will blend leadership with hands-on engineering, apply Agile and DevOps practices, and communicate progress to senior leaders while guiding teams through enterprise-scale change.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering with leadership of managers or multiple squads.
• Experience with multi-track/platform-scale programs (3+ parallel workstreams).
• Hands-on depth in two of: distributed systems, platform/SRE, ML/AI engineering, cloud infra.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and major cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Proficiency with LLM application development and agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Review architecture decisions, ADRs, and agent design specs and write them when needed.
• Prototype in the agent harness with sub-agent definitions and tool integrations.
• Read traces, evaluate outputs, and debug agent behavior with engineers.
• Contribute to reference implementations for Factory PODs.
• Participate in code and design reviews as an active member.
