Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of AI Enablement in Louisville, KY to lead an enterprise AI delivery program across multiple tracks, combining leadership with hands-on architectural work in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and LLm-based agent development.

You will drive change, enable teams, and partner with senior leaders to advance the ADLC initiative. Expected to guide matrix teams, craft architecture docs, and mentor engineers while maintaining a strong focus on HIPAA-regulated

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering
• 5+ years leading engineering managers/leads or multiple squads
• Demonstrated ownership of a multi-track/platform-scale program
• Hands-on depth in at least two areas: distributed systems, platform/SRE, ML/AI, or cloud
• Production experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud
• Experience with LLm application development and agent frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise AI Enablement program with multiple tracks
• Align across peer organizations without direct authority
• Coach teams through change and enable adoption of new technologies
• Review architecture decisions and ADRs; write when needed
• Prototype agent harness and tool integrations; contribute to reference implementations
