Job summary

Humana seeks an Associate Director of AI Enablement to lead a transformational, enterprise-wide AI-driven software delivery initiative. You will shape governance, tooling, and platform practices across IT to enable scalable, compliant AI-enabled software delivery.

The role requires guiding leaders through change, coaching teams, and building a high-cadence development culture within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering with leadership of managers/teams.
• Proven ownership of multi-track/platform-scale programs (3+ streams).
• Hands-on depth in distributed systems, platform/SRE, ML/AI, or cloud infra.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and major cloud (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Experience with enterprise-grade engineering platforms and governance.

Responsibilities

• Review architecture decisions, ADRs, and agent design specs; write when needed.
• Prototype in agent harness: sub-agent definitions and tool integrations.
• Read traces, evaluate eval-harness outputs, and debug agent behavior.
• Contribute to reference implementations for Enterprise platforms.
• Participate in code and design reviews as an active contributor.
• Lead enterprise-wide enablement and coaching across teams.
