Job summary

Jenner & Block LLP in Chicago seeks a Director of Pricing & LPM to lead the firm's pricing strategy and scale AI-enabled value pricing across matters. You will oversee historic time data, establish go-forward predictive models, and ensure staffing aligns with profitability and client constraints.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in legal pricing or professional services, strong analytics, and a proven ability to manage pricing teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Pricing Experience within a Professional Services environment (law firm experience is strongly preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead firm’s strategic pricing transformation as AI shifts toward value pricing.
• Develop historic matter time data and predictive value usage for go-forward engagements.
• Ensure rigorous documentation of methodologies, data sources, and procedures.
• Educate lawyers on law firm economics and AFAs profitability.
• Oversee annual firmwide rate-setting and client rate renewals.
