Job summary

BCLP seeks a Senior Analyst, Pricing in Chicago to collaborate with Partners, Business Development and Finance on pricing proposals, fee structures and profitability analyses. You’ll contribute to client RFP responses and pricing models to support value-driven decisions.

This role offers exposure to complex client matters, development of commercial acumen, and the use of AI-enabled tools to enhance the delivery and pricing of legal services within a leading law firm.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in pricing or financial analysis within professional services or law firms.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to explain financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on pricing options for client matters including rates, discounts, fee structures and staffing assumptions.
• Lead pricing analysis for client RFPs and proposals, developing strategies and commercial recommendations.
• Support fee discussions and client pricing negotiations with clear analysis to Partners and stakeholders.
• Provide pricing insights to design efficient service delivery models, including potential AI-enabled tooling and resourcing changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, manage day-to-day pricing interactions and reflect pricing terms in systems.
• Prepare profitability analyses, interpret matter economics and margin impact, and identify opportunities to improve client value and profitability.
