Job summary

Weedmaps seeks a Director of Revenue in Irvine to lead a high-performing sales organization focused on new business, account expansion, product adoption, and revenue target attainment.

The role requires deep Ad Tech sales leadership, revenue operations expertise, and a track record training and scaling seller performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to optimize processes and incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Ad Tech sales, revenue leadership, account management, or commercial leadership roles.
• Significant experience leading revenue teams in Ad Tech, technology, marketplace, digital advertising, or platform-based business environment.
• 4+ years of people management experience, including coaching, developing, and performance‑managing sales professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue strategy and sales execution for Weedmaps, with accountability for achieving revenue targets across new business, client retention, account growth, ad services, Ad Tech offerings, and product adoption.
• Coach, develop, and manage Account Executives and Account Managers to improve seller capability and productivity.
• Own quota attainment, forecasting, pipeline health, territory planning, and quarterly revenue planning in collaboration with leadership and ops teams.
• Drive a disciplined Ad Tech sales culture focused on prospecting, qualification, discovery, and negotiation.
• Partner with Revenue Operations to improve CRM adoption, reporting, and sales processes.
