Job summary

Weedmaps seeks an Account Manager onsite in Irvine to drive client growth, retention, and billing collection with Weedmaps marketing solutions. You will manage a client book, provide insights, train users, and ensure CRM data hygiene while collaborating with Account Executives to optimize value for shared clients.

You will work in a fast-paced cannabis industry environment, leveraging Salesforce and Tableau to analyze data and present credible recommendations.

Qualifications

• BS / BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Ad Tech sales or account management; client-facing role.
• Proven track record of hitting goals and revenue targets.
• Data-oriented, analytical sales approach.
• Customer-centric and an eager relationship builder, with the ability to share feedback with customers to drive positive long-term relationship momentum.
• Confidence in presenting to clients (onsite or on phone) to influence credibly and effectively.
• Comfort with and ability to operate at an accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a clear attention to detail and process oriented.
• Experience in the cannabis industry.
• Salesforce and Tableau experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of business to meet and exceed revenue & retention goals.
• Provide insights & recommendations to clients on how to grow their business with Weedmaps marketing solutions, based on the client & market data.
• Collaborate with assigned Account Executive(s) on the best path to drive more value for your shared clients & enter opportunities in CRM for management visibility.
• Increase the client’s proficiency & usage of the Weedmaps platform through training.
• Act as the steward of the client data hygiene by updating & maintaining the CRM on calls, meetings, contact info, current license, and up to date on billing payments.
• Communicate billing updates proactively to drive collection efforts as necessary.
• Relay feedback from clients to improve our products and process to increase client success.
