Job summary

AV seeks a Dedicated Directed Energy Laser Field Service Representative to travel to customer locations to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support advanced laser systems used in mission-critical applications. You will be the primary contact at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Formal training in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Electronics, IT, or equivalent).
• Associate degree or technical certifications; relevant experience may be considered.
• 2–5 years of hands-on field service or similar experience.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in varied field conditions.
• Willingness to work in high-stress environments such as combat zones.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up systems at customer locations, ensuring proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to keep systems running.
• Troubleshoot via data/logs and coordinate with engineering for complex problems.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of laser systems.
