Job summary

LaserAway is seeking a skilled Laser Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our laser equipment across a multi-location territory. You'll be the critical link between our clinical teams and operational excellence, ensuring equipment reliability and clinic readiness.

You will manage laser maintenance and repairs across 8+ clinic locations and 100+ medical devices, respond promptly to service tickets and on-call issues, and lead new clinic equipment setup to meet launch

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in laser, biomedical, electrical, HVAC, or similar technical field.
• Strong electrical safety knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb 8-ft ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel (up to 5 days).
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage laser maintenance and repairs across 8+ clinic locations and 100+ medical devices.
• Respond promptly to service tickets and on-call issues, with flexibility for after-hours support.
• Lead new clinic equipment setup and validation to meet launch deadlines.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and parts inventory management.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and troubleshoot complex electrical/optical issues.
• Communicate proactively with clinic teams on equipment status and repair timelines.
• Create and submit weekly equipment reports.
