Job summary

AMADA AMERICA, INC. is seeking a Customer Support Engineer for Laser systems to support field installations, service, and programming of machines. This non-exempt role focuses on customer satisfaction and technical problem solving.

You will travel regularly to customer sites, perform diagnostics with tools, document service reports, and collaborate with the Service division to ensure effective machine performance. Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical knowledge related to laser machines.
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals.
• Strong communication and customer-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation of laser systems and related components.
• Follow up with departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare service and expense reports weekly and document technical details.
• Maintain excellent customer and coworker relations.
• Complete internal paperwork (Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, Purchase Requisitions, etc.).
• Regular travel.
• Provide feedback to the manager on machine and customer issues.
• Demonstrate commitment to a safe work environment.
