Job summary

Bridgewell in Lynn, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role includes daily living skills coaching, supervision, and skills training during shifts.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year experience with disabilities preferred. Valid drivers license and ability to drive a van are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training in activities of daily living.
• Foster independence and decision making for individuals in care.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations, as applicable.
• Maintain daily progress notes and required documentation.
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities.
• Attend program staff meetings and trainings.
