Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional for our residential services in the North Shore MA area. You will support people with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in daily living activities and community integration.

The role requires evening and weekend shifts (28 hours per week) with training in specialized interventions and safety policies. A high school diploma or 5+ years of relevant experience is required, with a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and web apps.
• Valid US driver's license with at least 1 year driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with daily living skills in a residential setting.
• Foster independence by creating opportunities for decision-making.
• Comply with regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Transport and accompany people to activities outside the program.
• Maintain required progress notes, checklists, and documentation.
• Perform household cleaning duties as assigned.
• Assist with safety checks and sleep shifts as needed.
• Build positive relationships with guardians and stakeholders.
• Attend program meetings and trainings.
