Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Create opportunities to foster independence and decision-making.
• Ensure services meet regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Assist with all medical, clinical and financial needs of clients.
• Transport clients to medical, recreational and other activities.
• Maintain daily progress notes and shift documentation.
• Perform household cleaning duties as assigned.
• Conduct steady care calls for overnight shifts as required.
• Build positive relationships with guardians and stakeholders.
• Attend program staff meetings and supervision sessions.
