Job summary

Myers-Davis Life Coaching Inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Arkansas. You will work under the Direct Care Supervisor and Waiver Services Director to support clients in Community Based Services under the DDS program.

The role is full-time with hours 3:00pm-9:00pm, seven days a week. In this position, you will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help clients build essential life and social skills in a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid state license or ID.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks.
• Should exhibit patience, kindness, and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit compassion, support consumers, and ensure a safe environment.
• Foster independence in individuals.
• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence.
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support.
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep.
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices.
