Myers-Davis in Arkansas is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join a team delivering community-based services under the DDS program. You will support individuals, promote independence, and provide person-centered care in daily activities.

The full-time shift runs Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm. Candidates must be at least 18, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to exhibit compassion and provide person-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals and teammates.
• Able to follow safety guidelines and support daily living activities.

Responsabilités

• Exhibit compassion, support consumers, and ensure a safe environment
• Foster independence in individuals
• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices
