Job summary

Bridgewell, a provider of social and human services, seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will deliver daily living support, documentation, and safety duties in a community-focused program.

Responsibilities include skills training, medication administration per MAP, and collaboration with guardians and staff. A valid driver’s license and MAP/FA/CPR certifications may be needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Computer literacy including MS Word/Excel and agency web apps is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people in our services with skills training in all activities of daily living during the day, evening and/or overnight hours (depending on the shift).
• Create opportunities and provide support to people in our services to make decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.
• Provide services to people in our services according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
