Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, supervision, and skills training within a home environment and community-based activities.

You’ll receive specialized training, work a Sunday/Saturday 9:00am–9:00pm schedule, and participate in a team that values safety, collaboration, and person-centered support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience.
• 1 year of experience with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living during day, evening or overnight hours.
• Create opportunities for people to develop independence and make decisions.
• Provide services according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and Bridgewell policies.
• Assist people with medical, clinical and financial needs.
• Transport and accompany people to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program.
• Maintain daily progress notes, shift checklists, and required documentation.
