Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential programs. You will provide daily living support, supervision, and skills training in alignment with regulatory standards and agency policies.

You will work Sunday-Thursday 2:00pm-10:00pm, participate in trainings, and collaborate with guardians and stakeholders to promote independence and safety within the community.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED or at least 5+ years of verified experience in the same position is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in all activities of daily living during day, evening and/or overnight hours.
• Create opportunities for people to develop independence.
• Provide services according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Assist with medical, clinical and financial needs.
• Transport and accompany people to activities outside the program.
• Maintain progress notes and documentation per standards.
• Complete household cleaning duties as assigned.
• Conduct all steady care calls during awake overnight shifts.
• Help people access community resources and recreational opportunities.
• Administer medications as applicable.
