Job summary

Allaboutcaringmntc is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide 1:1 support in structured home environments. You will assist with activities of daily living, routine goal setting, and behavioral and medical monitoring under structured service plans.

The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work evenings or overnight shifts as needed. DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check is required to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to provide hands-on care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow structured service plans.
• Professional boundaries and reliability required.
• Must pass DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with ADLs and daily living tasks.
• Support structured routines and independence goals.
• Monitor health, seizures and behavior as assigned.
• Apply positive support and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housework.
• Support community participation and transportation needs.
• Complete accurate and timely SOAP documentation.
• Follow incident reporting and emergency protocols.
