Job summary

Allaboutcaringmntc is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide 1:1 support in structured home environments. You will assist with ADLs, support daily routines and independence goals, monitor health and behavior, implement positive approaches, and help with meals and light household tasks.

Overnight shifts may be required on some placements. The role requires reliability, excellent communication and documentation, the ability to follow structured service plans, and a DHS NetStudy 2.0

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to provide hands-on care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow structured service plans.
• Professional boundaries and reliability required.
• Must pass DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with ADLs (dressing, hygiene, toileting, mobility, meals).
• Support structured daily routines and independence goals.
• Monitor health, seizure activity, and behavioral changes (as assigned).
• Implement positive support and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Support community participation and transportation needs.
• Complete accurate and timely SOAP documentation.
• Follow incident reporting and emergency protocols.
