Job summary

Allaboutcaringmntc seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide 1:1 support in structured home settings. You will assist with daily activities, health monitoring, and behavior support to help individuals build independence.

Role requires engagement, reliability, and ability to follow structured plans. Overnight shifts may be assigned; requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to provide hands-on care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow structured service plans.
• Professional boundaries and reliability.
• Must pass DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with ADLs (dressing, hygiene, toileting, mobility, meals).
• Support structured daily routines and independence goals.
• Monitor health, seizure activity, and behavioral changes as assigned.
• Implement positive support and de-escalation strategies.
• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Support community participation and transportation needs.
• Complete accurate and timely SOAP documentation.
• Follow incident reporting and emergency protocols.
