Job summary

Venture Community Services in Brockton, MA seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, accompany to appointments, and help implement support plans in home and community settings.

This part-time role offers $17.50-$19.00 per hour with paid training and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff and $500 for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community.
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Fluent English—spoken, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (household tasks, meals, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Support individuals to attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans and help meet goals.
• Administer medications as trained and follow safety procedures.
