Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living, appointments, and community activities. Paid training is provided and staff may participate in ongoing education opportunities.

The position is full-time, 40 hours, with a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, appointments, and transportation.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans as well as medical guidelines.
• Help with community inclusion and attend outings.
