Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with developmental disabilities through daily living support, advocacy, and community participation. The role includes help with household tasks, meals, transportation, and attending medical appointments while following individual plans.

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, with paid training and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, and personal care as needed.
• Accompany to medical appointments and community activities; monitor behavior plans and medical guidelines.
• Administer medications per program and follow agency policies and safety procedures.
