Job summary

Venture Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through compassionate, hands-on support. This role involves advocacy, daily living assistance, and helping individuals participate fully in their communities.

The position offers a full-time schedule, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid training, and benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, PTO, sick time, and referral

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate actively in daily life.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, banking, community activities and outings.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans; comply with medical guidelines in place.
