Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will advocate, provide daily living support, and help participants participate in their communities.

The role includes household tasks, meal prep, appointments, medications, and transportation support. Paid training, orientation, and a sign-on bonus are part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, personal care, and daily tasks.
• Support attendance at medical appointments, banking, community activities, and outings.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and goals, and medical guidelines.
• Attend to training requirements including MAP, CPR/First Aid, and agency policies.
