Job summary

Our House, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes or apartments. You will support daily living skills, community inclusion, and personal growth while ensuring health, safety, and well-being.

This position offers full-time or part-time shifts, paid training, and benefits. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and be 21 or older; driving agency vehicles is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to attend and successfully complete a two-week, in-office paid training.
• Comfortable using computers and agency systems to document shift reports; log data in electronic systems.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily routines and independent living skills.
• Assist with personal care and medical needs; document medications.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities using agency vehicles.
• Facilitate community inclusion and social events.
• Maintain safety, dignity and well-being of residents; ensure accurate documentation.
