Our House, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes or apartments.

You’ll assist with daily living, community inclusion, and personal growth to help individuals gain independence while ensuring health, safety, and well-being. This role suits compassionate professionals in caregiving or human services, with opportunities for a long-term career in the DD/IDD field.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Attend a two-week, in-office paid training upon hire; annual recertifications.
• Comfortable using computers and agency systems to document shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living and community inclusion.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and activities using agency vehicles.
• Maintain safety, health, and well-being of residents.
• Document thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR).
• Advocate for residents’ rights and individual goals.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
