Our House, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist adults with IDD in group homes or apartments.

The role focuses on daily living skills, community inclusion, and personal growth to promote independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing. We offer paid training, competitive pay ($20.00–$21.00/hour) and strong benefits for full-time staff, with additional options for part-time or substitute roles.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to attend two-week in-office paid training on hire and annual recertifications.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily routines and independent living skills.
• Assist with personal care and medical needs; document medications accurately.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and community activities using agency vehicles.
• Facilitate community inclusion and social events.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and well-being of residents; document shift summaries in EHR and related systems.
